This issue was originally started yesterday morning. I worked on it all day until it was just about time to hit publish. Just then, Firefox took a dump, so I lost everything. It's taken me a while to get back on the horse. Oh well...better late than never.

I realize that this is not a new concept, but I’ve wanted to find a way to let those people who’ve influenced me so much know that they’ve had an impact on me. Their artwork and unique vision has inspired me to new heights…sent me off in directions I wouldn’t have otherwise taken.

The fractal community here on DA has been very kind to me, and I want to say thank you. I’ve gone back through my favorites…back to the very first ones. It’s been an adventure looking back at those ‘early’ Apo images – remembering where we’ve come from and understanding how far we’ve progressed from the signature Apo spirals. This first batch will be large, but I plan to publish this tribute on a regular (monthly) basis…but please don’t hold me to it.

Every day I see at least one new image that inspires me, and this is the best way I know to let those folks know how grateful I am for their generosity in sharing their art. I’ve created a stamp for those of you featured in these journal issues. It’s just for you, and I hope you welcome my small gift as I’ve welcomed your “Fractal Inspirations.”
